Machine quality and easy and beautiful impressions Only flat, the machine/pc WiFi connection is impossible. I bypassed the problem using Nexprint with Elegoo Slicer on PC. Including an articulated dragon in pla silk. This machine is really simple and efficient. I was helped by Chat GPT to refine the print settings. It looks very robust and easy to mount. I recommend.

Filament PLA Zijde & Soie
De filament PLA Silk, soms ook PLA Zijde genoemd, onderscheidt zich door zijn unieke visuele afwerking: een satijnglans en een oppervlaktezachtheid die zelden wordt bereikt met standaardmaterialen. De samenstelling is gebaseerd op een basis van PLA verrijkt met additieven die de lichtverspreiding op het oppervlak van het stuk veranderen, waardoor dit kenmerkende "zijde" effect ontstaat.
Technische eigenschappen
Superieure esthetische afwerking: de PLA Silk is perfect voor het maken van presentatieobjecten, beeldjes, trofeeën of decoratieve elementen. De glans verbergt gedeeltelijk de afdruklagen, waardoor het oppervlak visueel vloeiender wordt.
Gemakkelijk te printen: het print met het gemak van een standaard filament, bij lage temperatuur (190-220 °C), zonder de noodzaak van een hoog verwarmd bed.
Goede interlaaghechting: de vloeibaarheid van het materiaal bevordert een sterke en regelmatige binding, waardoor het risico op delaminatie wordt verminderd.
Universele compatibiliteit: het is geschikt voor de meeste printers, zonder de noodzaak van een gesloten behuizing of speciale omstandigheden.
Beperkingen en voorzorgsmaatregelen
Verminderde mechanische weerstand: de PLA Silk is vooral een esthetisch materiaal. De licht gewijzigde structuur voor de glans maakt het minder stijf dan standaard PLA.
Gevoelig voor hitte: het wordt zacht boven 55-60 °C; het wordt daarom afgeraden voor onderdelen die worden blootgesteld aan hoge temperaturen.
Hechting aan het bed: het zeer gladde oppervlak kan het gebruik van een kleefmiddel of bed-tape vereisen om de hechting van de eerste laag te garanderen.
Printtips
- Nozzle temperatuur: 200 - 215 °C, afhankelijk van het merk en de tint.
- Bed: 50-60 °C aanbevolen, maar niet verplicht.
- Snelheid: tussen 40 en 60 mm/s om de glans te behouden.
- Ventilatie: gematigd tot sterk om draden te voorkomen en de scherpte van de contouren te accentueren.
- Opslag: uit de buurt van vocht, omdat de PLA Silk gevoelig is voor wateropname.
